For the occasion of its 125th anniversary, the Spaten Brewery is revising its original "Münchner Hell" and is launching it on the market in a traditional design including a matching crate. The Spaten Brewery is one of the oldest breweries in Germany and was first mentioned in records dating back in 1397.
Inspired by this impressive history, we developed the relaunch design of "Spaten Münchner Hell". The label stands out with a nostalgic colour scheme and playful lettering. In this way, we created a fresh, timeless look that corresponds to the original and honest character of the brand.
In order to accentuate the traditional character, but implement it in an iconic way, we kept to the existing style when designing the bottle label and slightly revised the logo.
